Skiller - a horse bred with aphrodite's tears (sometimes called tear-bred) that will reach the skill level of the top horses on the game for that breed or similar when trained correctly to obtain the maximum skill points possible
Blupper - a horse that is in the process of being aged and trained to 100 BLUP
Filler - a horse entered into competitions for the sole purpose of filling slots to make the competition run without being entered to win
AP Hunter - a horse that is worked and bedded solely for the purpose of collecting ageing points
Foal Games - schedules designed to obtain the 60 maximum skill points available to foals between the age of 8 months and 1 year and 4 months
Bolding - When a skill has been fully trained and no more skill points can be obtained through rides and entering competitions, the skill is bolded
Affix - a name or title added to the end of horses by the player that bred them that cannot be changed by a new owner to help identify who has bred a horse. Often used by teams to advertise their team.
Promo - a promotion. A competition that all players participate in separately to the main game to win prizes and new divines
Comp - a competition
Mod - a moderator: players who Owlient has given the responsibility of helping to keep forums safe and answering player's questions
Admin - an administrator - people who work for Owlient and post information on Howrse regarding promotions, new features and the like. They will sometimes reply to game play and even queries, however this is mainly the job of moderators
Uni - a unicorn: a horse with a horn that gives it a +12 Dressage bonus
Pegi - a pegasus: a horse that has been given wings by Medusa's Blood and has a +3 stamina bonus and +4 dressage and speed bonus
Foundie - a foundation horse, identified by having Ouranos and Gaia as it's parents. The old style foundation horses have 350 GP, but new changes introduced GP that is representative of the top GP for the breed at the time the horse is created, but nevertheless is still a foundie
Companions - the companions are a discontinued feature, that were purchasable animals (for passes and equus) with each giving your horse a different bonus. The fact they are discontinued makes them incredibly rare and a collector's item
Uni Fail - a horse or pony with 2 unicorn parents, but is not a unicorn itself, therefore is usually rendered useless
Bumping - adding more information (usually pointless or repeating an earlier comment) to a forum post (usually game play) that brings it back to the top
Blanketing - entering a horse in every competition available to it
Stomping - deliberately entering a high skilled horse in competitions that bluppers are entering to get 'easy wins' and to prevent others from winning
Diamond Apple: a discontinued feature, that allowed players to customise their horse's coat with markings and stripes but keep the same shape as the base game. It was discontinued due to the game glitches it caused players, but horses sporting these coats are incredibly valuable
Breeder's Wealth Privilege: A privilege received by all players that replaced the old EC employment system when the EC changes were made
